Year 7 Wales Trip

You will have received a letter informing you about an exciting opportunity we have planned for all Year 7 students. As part of our extended transition program, we are organising a residential trip to Aberdovey, in Wales.

The aim of this trip is to focus on team building, relationship building, and continuing to foster a positive school experience.

We are pleased to share that we have partnered with The Outward Bound Trust, an organisation renowned for providing exceptional outdoor learning experiences. Through their guidance, students will participate in a variety of activities designed to challenge them, promote teamwork, and build resilience, all in the beautiful setting of the Welsh countryside.

In recognition of the value this trip will bring to our students, Soar Valley College has generously funded a significant portion of the costs to ensure the trip is accessible to all. As a result, we are only asking for a small contribution of £40 per student to help cover transport costs. We believe this is a fantastic opportunity for every child to benefit from, and we hope that this reduced cost will make it possible for all students to attend.
