Visit to the Houses of Parliament

Three of our Key Stage 4 students enjoyed a trip to Parliament on Tuesday 12th September. The students were selected to go on this trip as they won a letter writing competition, where they wrote outstanding letters to their local MPs about concerns within the community and suggestions about how to make improvements.

Our students joined students from four other Leicester City schools for a full day in London where they were treated to a tour of the Houses of Parliament followed by an open top bus tour where they got to see all the sights of London. It was a fantastic day and a great opportunity for our students to learn about the workings of our democracy.
