Active Citizenship

As part of our Year 10 Active Citizen project some SVC students visited Watermead Park on Friday 24th of November to litter pick. Students enthusiastically volunteered and worked well to clean litter safely from the pathways. They were brilliant active citizens.

Throughout this academic year Year 10 students will be signing up and actively volunteering in different initiatives that promote citizenship. They have all chosen one of the following five themes to work on; environment, hope, thanks, green or international. A great start for our first ‘environment’ active volunteers.
